[WIP] Duo has a yami, and his name is Shinigami.  Below is an excerpt from the fic

Duo crept through the darkness, dodging the looming stacks of old furniture and trinkets that lined the center of the small establishment. Mentally wishing the shopkeeper could be less of a pig, he made his way towards the front window. Never a cautious boy, Duo most likely didn’t wonder at the strange lack of alarms and security systems that he encountered. If he did notice it, it was only to thank his luck.

At last he was at the display, and he could see the golden wand waiting for him, gleaming in the light of the streetlamps. As Duo reached for it, one last vestige of prudence made him pause, warning him that once he made his decision, there would be no returning. Suddenly afraid, he almost turned and left, resisted the strange pull. Then, he shook himself, the fear evaporating as if it had never been, and his hand made contact with the scepter.

There was a burst of light, and only one other set of eyes watched as Duo folded to the ground. The other watched, as Duo seemed to wake, opening his suddenly crimson eyes and looking around. He watched, as the crimson faded back to their usual violet, and he made no move to stop Duo as he left the store.

The turbaned man smiled as the boy disappeared, before fading into the shadows himself, satisfied that his task was completed.

[WIP] Sequel to Harry Potter and the Secret Link. The Gundam pilots plus Draco attempt to go on with their lives as usual, which isn’t very usual at all. But what’s this about a second prophecy? And why is Harry looking for an Heir to Slytherin that isn’t Voldemort? Below is an excerpt from the fic

“The pool! The hell I do! Duo, these pajamas are silk of the finest quality, and the best that money can buy! Do you have any idea what the cleaning potions in the pool water will do to them? Not to mention the fact that they’re dry clean only!”

“I think the real question here is: how does this affect me, and why should I care?”

In the end, despite many protests and frequent threats on Duo’s life that the American later claimed were “made out of love”, Draco inevitably ended up thoroughly soaked in water, his ruined pajamas clinging to his body like a second skin.

Duo watched Draco climb from the pool with a manic grin on his face as the blond shot him a particularly lethal glare. “One of these days, dragon boy, when we’ve caught you up on all the marvels of the muggle world, we’re going to take a trip to a colony so you can get the full extent of what I mean.”

The blond made an effort to pull the revealing second skin away from his body, his glare heated as he growled, “I’d kill you if I didn’t think your boyfriend would get to me first.”

“Such is the advantage of having a boyfriend who is just that cool,” Duo crowed boastfully, head thrown back as he laughed at the ceiling. Later, Heero would point out that this was where Duo made his crucial mistake. Taking one’s eyes off of a target that had already been humiliated was a not the greatest of ideas. The establishment of this rule was explained during Draco’s next actions; the blond lunged at Duo with a vengeful gleam in his eyes, and right after their bodies smashed into one another, both were sent tumbling into the pool.

What happens when Ministry of Magic missed informing Hogwarts to send its acceptance letter to a certain braided boy? Watch as Duo chips away at the very foundation of Hogwarts as he breaks down House walls, befriends Gryffs and Slyths alike, mugglfies Malfoys, and flushes cherry bombs down school toilets. Below is an excerpt from the fic

 “Call me Duo,” the Gundam pilot said cheerfully. “‘Mr. Maxwell’ makes me want to look for a responsible adult for you to talk to.”

This is the beginning of a beau-ti-ful student-teacher relationship, Duo thought gleefully, mentally rubbing his hands together and cackling ominously.

Hogwarts saw a lot more action than the resident staff was used to during the summer...

Crash! Shatter!

Wail. “My greenhouse!”

Glibly. “Well, at least the other six are-“ Shatter, rumble! “Spoke too soon.”

Sob. “My begonias!”

Whoosh!

“Ack!” Scuffle, scuffle. Sizzle!

Hides wand behind his back. Sheepishly. “Um. I’m pretty sure eyebrows grow back. Eventually. Er, Professor Flitwick, sir.”

“Just a pinch of asphodel, Maxwell... I said just a-!”

Boom! Thump!

“... Er, Sev? Sexy? Professor Snape?” Nudge, nudge. “Um, Sexy...? Damn, how long does this Draught of the Living Death stuff last, anyway?...”

Heero found himself in another man's body. And worse, the man had a girlfriend named Miaka. The worst howere that the man lives in another world. The  Below is an excerpt from the fic

First, the floor beneath his feet rocked suddenly, and he lost his tenuous balance.

Second, he was not dressed in his typical spandex, but long, ancient-typeclothes, and this threw him off a touch...

Third, everything and everyone around him seemed just as ancient as his own outfit, except for the girl who had just thrown her arms around his neck and was sobbing in relief.

Sprawled across the floor, Heero blinked, thanking whatever powers existed that Duo hadn't been around to witness this. He pushed the girl away roughly. "Who are you? Where am I?" he demanded, coldly.

The other woman--no, man--he corrected himself, looked at him with wide purple eyes. "Ne, Tamahome-kun, what do you mean? That's Miaka, and I'm Nuriko. Did Tasuki really hit you that hard?"

Heero glared at them both. "My name is Heero Yuy. Omae o korosu."

[WIP] Duo's a Kitsune, and hiding it- who's his twin? And what will happen when the other pilots find out about this?  Below is an excerpt from the fic

After all, who would believe a street kid claiming to be a reborn kitsune?

How long had it been since he had come in the Ningenkai? Nearly fifteen years now. It wasn't at all what he thought it would be when he had fled here.

He had expected a realm of foolish mortals, who didn't know or understand half of what happened to and around them. And many Ningens were just that- but just as many were so much more.

He had expected to be back in the Makai the moment his powers fully matured in this new form, but he found himself staying, and coming up with more excuses to stay.

And he certainly hadn't expected to become so deeply involved in this war that was so purely the Ningenkai's business- but here he was anyway, one of the main participants

[discontinued] Strange nightmares have been keeping Heero Yuy awake at nights and he doesn’t know what they mean, or what has triggered them. Then a strange man appears who seems to know Heero very well. Who is this person? Why are they so happy to see him? What’s all this about magic? Who is Harry Potter – and why do they think he has something to do with his disappearance?  Below is an excerpt from the fic

“ See what?” Heero growled, starting to sound frustrated. “ Who are you? Why have you been following me? You have three minutes and then to hell with procedures!”

“ That proves it then,” Sirius said softly. “ That you could detect me even though I was using…or maybe because of it.” He smiled at Heero. “ I’m sorry, it’s just that I was so sure you’d recognize me once I revealed myself. You’re Harry Potter. Do you remember now?”

Heero was now certain the man had lost it. “ I’m who?”

“ Harry Potter. Boy-who-lived. My godson.”

Duo made the sign of a crazy person, circling his head with his index finger. Heero was hard-pressed to disagree. “ Uh-huh. Duo, call security.”

[WIP] Denied his betrothed and deemed a traitor to the crown, Heero is sent into hiding and thought to be dead. But he comes back to claim his bride, only, instead of the sweet maiden he expected, he finds his hands full of a fiesty Duo. His friend, Wufei, offers to take the burden off his hands but Heero is already falling whether he likes it or not. Below is an excerpt from the fic

The man let out a soft curse as he grabbed Duo quickly, a hand moving to cover the boy's mouth in case he decided to scream. "And you're no lady," he uttered, his low voice hitting Duo's ear and making the boy flinch. "As for your statement, yes, I am *him*. And you've ruined my plans." His cobalt blue eyes glanced up the stairs and he gave a silent apology as he realized he wouldn't have a chance to reassure Relena. "I'll just have to move a bit early, is all." He held the boy tight to his chest as he moved down the stairs, Duo too shocked to struggle as he remained still. Surprisingly few people looked up as he crossed to the nearest table and he pressed the boy down in a chair. "Be glad I'm not the villain you think I am," he said softly as he glared into wide violet eyes.

One thing is for certain, this version of Beauty and the Beast isn't as sweet as the Disney version. In fact, it's downright sour.  Below is an excerpt from the fic

Once upon a time, there was a cold-hearted prince, who didn't like people. One night he was visited by a singularly ugly old woman who offered him a black rose and then proceeded to rant about how true beauty was within. When she ignored his order to shut up, he shot her as he'd said he would. She then transformed into a beautiful enchantress, repeating the fact that beauty, herself as an example, lied within. Thoroughly disgusted, he shot her again. The enchantress was now angry herself, and cursed the young prince, turning him into a hideous beast. The rose was left along with the terms of the curse. He would remain a beast until he fell in love, was loved by another, and self destructed, or stopped shooting people. This had to be done before his seventeenth birthday on which day the rose would wilt and he would remain a beast forever. As he was already fourteen, he didn't have much time. The prince, however, couldn't have cared less. He didn't like people, and being a beast only increased his strength, which was more important than looks to him. His servants, however, were very upset about the curse, since it turned them invisible. Many things could be done when one was invisible, but not being to see one's self or one's loved one got very irritating after awhile. Imagine making love to someone and not realizing it isn't one's boyfriend until the other speaks because the person was invisible. So they spent the next year looking for someone to draw to the castle and break the curse.

Heero is a cop and Duo is a crossdresser and a soap opera writer. They met when Duo was caught among prostitutes, doing research for his soap opera. Below is an excerpt from the fic

It might have been her in the picture, though, according to the DMV Duo Maxwell was male. But, the hair that was pulled back into a braid was the same chestnut. And that nose, that chin, those eyes.

Heero frowned over the driver's license. The address was right.

Perfect, Heero thought, I arrested a drag queen.

Duo as Alice, chasing Bunny Quatre who was late in meeting King Heero. Below is an excerpt from the fic

Quatre Bunny started as if goosed and spun around to face the young girl…boy. “Why, I shall be late for King Heero’s ball, you nincompoop! Oh, he’ll have my head for sure. He will! He will!”

“Wait!” Duo cried out as the bunny began to hop towards a rabbit hole. Duo never knew the little piece of land even had those to begin with, but he was a curious young man and wouldn’t have missed this opportunity at all. As the bunny disappeared from sight, Duo was quick to dive after it…and promptly screamed for his life as he began to fall down the longest rabbit hole ever known to man.

But this was a rather unusual fall, for just as quickly as he had slid in, he began to floating ever so slowly. Down, down, down, down, down the rabbit hole he went. Would this fall never end, he wondered?

“Darn,” he mumbled. “If I had known this hole would be this long, I would have asked for a shortcut.”

Duo enters another world, and there he meets a Japanese boy with blue eyes. There's a problem, however: they don't speak the same language. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

#Heero, you are really great. Did ya' see the look on the man's face when you held his own sword to his throat? His face looked like a hunk of cotton! I bet he never thought you would do that...# Duo spoke along the way. Heero, who didn't understand Duo's language, had had enough. //Doesn't this baka get tired of speaking?// He glared at Duo and said "Omae o korosu!"

Duo remembered he has heard the words once and he tried to repeat the words, "Onna...o...kisu.." (I'll kiss a girl)

"Omae o korosu!"

"Omae.. o..kisu" (I'll kiss you)

Red face, Heero glared at the braided boy, "OMAE O KOROSU!"

"Omae... o...korosu." Duo smiled, this time he managed to say the right words.

Heero just stared, dumbfounded as Duo's smile widened. Then he sighed and walked toward the inn while mumbling, "Why did I save this baka....."

Duo just stared at him in confused and innocent way

[WIP] What started as a mission to gather a group of elite mutants in order to defeat the enemy of all mutants, OZ, is soon blurred as allies prove to be enemies and enemies switch sides. This is a long story of romance and stealth, where young mutants learn to use their abilities and work as a team. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

"You're not going anywhere," said Heero.

Heero wasn't sure what was going on, but there was no way he'd let his target get away.

Duo looked stricken for a minute. Then he moved suddenly, wrenching away and ducking to a point between Heero and Quatre - but out of grabbing distance.

They were all looking at him now, the knife gone from the tracker's throat as the green-eyed boy centered his attention on him. Duo began to panic.

He couldn't remember the last time so many people had looked at him. He couldn't take it. Hopefully he hadn't lost complete control of his abilities.

Heero's eyes narrowed as the longhaired boy suddenly disappeared.

"Block the exit! Quatre!"

The blonde boy scowled fiercely, and a sharp cry sounded near the opening as Duo abruptly flashed back and fell to his knees, head in his hands.

Duo is the prince of his land but always finds himself trying to escape. Heero is orphaned and left in the care of his stepmother and evil stepsisters. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

 “I’m just certain Prince Charming will choose me for his bride,” a high voice exclaimed from near us. I turned and nearly fell over. Lady Hilde, my most ardent stalker, was talking with her sister, Lady Relena, whom I had dubbed the princess of pink. She never wore any other color but that one color. Who ever dubbed my last name, as Charming should be shot. I actually went by my mother’s last name, which was Maxwell. This helped me hide when I needed to use my debit card. No one knew me by that name but my father and the two who were currently with me.

“But Heero’s so much better than some stuffy prince,” Relena commented. Hilde snorted in a very unladylike fashion.

“Please, he has a job here at the mall, does the household chores, and is our step-brother. That’s kind of sick Relena.”

In order to protect his half sister (Meiran), Duo transferred to her boarding school but only to find out that there is no more dorm room for a male..... Below is an excerpt from the fic.

How the hell did Merian find him attractive? He looked like a damn robot. Cute. Yes. Handsome. Sure. But his personality sucked. Did he ever smile? Did he even enjoy the game he was playing? Wasn't it tiring to keep a face as frozen as his? Duo just could not see Meiran and him having a good relationship together.

Duo recalled when he had stepped into the gym, this guy was the first person that popped into his view.

Asian. Good-looking with serious expression. Basketball player.

Exactly fit the description from Merian's letter. It was so easy to spot that it was like picking a red rose out of a bed of other ugly yellow flowers.

Though Duo wondered how the hell an Asian like him could have such beautiful cobalt eyes.

This fic is based on the Grimm story's Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty). With a twist. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

"And we're three *boys*, Quatre. We can't take care of a *baby*."

"Uhm... Well...."

"Okay, your maternal instincts beside, the other two of us can't take care of a baby," his tone became almost desperate and Quatre knew that was not his immediate problem. But he would not be swayed.

"But... Trowa!" the blond boy turned to look up at Trowa, the one who had always been the leader of their little group. "Trowa..." he murmured, his aquamarine eyes growing and wobbling slightly up at the taller boy. Trowa's visible dark green eye shut and he swallowed.

"... We stay." Wufei's shoulders slumped, his head lowering not before the other two caught an almost anguished light glowing in his dark eyes but he nodded.

One night, on a whim, Duo wishes his younger brother Solo would disappear. One problem, he does! Now Duo must journey through the labyrinth to reach Heero's castle and save his younger brother.  Below is an excerpt from the fic :

The strange boy walked over and stood next to Duo, side by side. Facing the maze and castle before them he glanced back at the awed boy. "No harm will come to him in my care."

Duo blinked and looked at the boy in confusion. It was almost as if this 'goblin king' was trying to comfort him and rid him of his guilt for wishing his brother away; how strange. But Duo still shook his head, firm in his decision. "No, I need to get him back. He belongs with me, at home."

The boy turned to face Duo completely and stepped back toward the maze, a new gleam in his eyes. He looked excited and intrigued. And Duo could tell it was not often that those eyes expressed such emotions, they had looked so dead when the boy first appeared.

"You have thirteen hours to reach us and take him back. Or I choose my prize." The boy gave a deep bow and disappeared, his image shattering into nothing..

A spin off of the original Princess and the Pea, this fic takes an entirely different approach with Duo being much more resourceful than any ordinary candidate. And rightfully so, with Heero rooting for him. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

Once upon a time, there lived a sullen yet handsome young prince whose unwedded state was drawing problems from his family. His name was Heero, and at the age of seventeen, he was already two years past the date at which he should have been properly wedded down. As a result, his father and brother decided to force the boy into marriage. There was only one stipulation; the prince refused to be wed to anyone other than a true prince or princess. And this meant more than the title, he demanded the person be royalty in more than just name, that he or she have a royal soul.

Quatre followed a Sorcerer in order to learn to use his magic. As his lesson continued, he found out that his new Master was searching for his best friend who was banished for something he didn't do. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

The shadow on the ground, cast by the moon, wasn't large and bulky like the body of the dragon. Rather it was tall but thin, a willowy build resembling that of a human. A human with ruffled short hair.

Duo's eyes locked on the dragon's he shook his head.

No! It couldn't be!

But it was! The creature before him, with the strange disfigured shadow, even had the right color eyes. He'd never forget that color for as long as he lived, no matter what creature had it. The dragon before him was his friend.

"Heero!?"

Wanting to become a priest, Duo can't argue when he's given an assignment to help raise seven children. The Yuy household is a cold, lifeless place, but light soon comes in the form of laughter and music. Torn between his plans to live for the church, and a newfound love, Duo doesn't know what to do. Heero has his own problems with his past affiliations with the army threatening to call him back into service, but he's determined to keep Duo, for the sake of his siblings as well as his heart. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

"Look, Mother," Duo said quickly, eyes widened in desperation. "I know I ran off again to go sing in the fields, but don't you think you're being a bit drastic? I mean, you wouldn't really send me away over a minor slip like that, would you?" Duo looked pleadingly at the woman seated across the desk from him.

"Duo Maxwell," Une said, frowning slightly. "You know I wouldn't send you away. I just think you need to get out and see the world before you settle down. I want to make sure the life of a priest is what you really want."

[WIP] Duo is infatuated with Wufei, a stranger. After an accident, Duo is mistaken for Wufei's boyfriend and finds himself in a tangle of lies. To makes matters worse, now he's starting to fall for Wufei's enigmatic brother, Heero. Below is an excerpt from the fic :

“Wufei and Heero were at high school with Quatre. Inseparable, the three of them… And then Wufei and Trowa were room-mates at college… and of course once Quatre and Trowa met… well, it was fate, some might call it. Yes, we’re a bit of an odd group, an odd little family circle.”

“No, I like a broader definition of family – the people you love, who love you… not just the people you happen to share blood with…” I smile, thinking of Sister Helen and Father Maxwell and Hilde – my family… and not a shared drop of blood between us.

Sally smiles at me, looking pleasantly surprised, as though she wasn’t really expecting to connect with me but is rather glad that she has. “Yes, that sounds like how it should be,” she agrees and I find myself blushing.

I’m about to speak again, when suddenly the door is flung open, hitting the wall with a dramatic thud.

I turn to see a man, standing just outside the doorway. My gaze takes in the wild, chocolate-brown hair and the piercing blue eyes. I know, instinctively, that this must be Heero.
